What Is a Goon Room?
A Goon Room is a shared viewing session hosted by one person (the host) and joined by others via a link. The host controls the cam grid — picking streams from Chaturbate and other platforms — and everyone in the room sees the same layout in sync. Alongside the streams, there's a real-time group chat where all viewers can talk to each other while watching.
Think of it as a watch party, but for live cams. The host curates, the room reacts, and the chat runs live the whole time.
How the Chat Works
When you're inside a Goon Room, a chat panel runs alongside the cam grid. Every message is delivered in real time to everyone in the room — host and viewers alike. You can drop reactions, call out what you're watching, suggest which cams to pull up next, or just talk. The chat is part of what makes a room feel alive rather than just a shared screen.
The host's messages show in a different colour so it's easy to tell who's running the room. If someone shares a cam URL in chat, a quick-add button appears so anyone can suggest a stream without interrupting the host's flow.
How to Start a Room and Invite People
Open PeepGrid and log in to your account.
Add cams to your grid — search by name or let the discover feed fill your tiles.
Click the 🔴 room button in the top bar to open your Goon Room.
Copy the room link and share it — Discord, group chat, DM, wherever your people are.
Anyone who opens the link joins the room, sees your grid, and can chat immediately.
No app download. No setup on the viewer's end. The link is all they need.
Who Can Join a Goon Room?
Viewers need a PeepGrid account to join — account creation is free and takes under a minute. By default, Auto-Enter is on, so anyone with your link walks straight into the room. If you want more control, you can set a password. Viewers without it can knock, and you approve or deny each one.
There's no hard cap on viewers. The room runs off your cam grid, not a server stream — so as long as your streams are live, the room keeps running.
What You Can Do as a Viewer
As a viewer you can chat freely with everyone else in the room. You can paste cam URLs into the chat to suggest streams to the host. You watch whatever the host has on the grid — they control the layout and which cams are playing. If you want to watch a different model, you can open a new tab while staying in the room chat.
Why It Hits Different Than Watching Alone
The social layer changes everything. When something wild happens on screen and the chat lights up with reactions at the same time, the moment becomes shared. People call out models by name, debate which tile is the best, suggest rooms — it's a live running commentary on top of already-live content.
